Dylan is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, where he is active in many campus-based environmental initiatives and works to encourage the development of scientific perspectives in public policymaking. He is active in student government and was the co-founder of the University of Maryland Student Government Association Sustainability Committee. He has conducted several trips abroad in Burkina Faso and Ethiopia focusing on community empowerment and sustainable development.
